In Part I we took a look at the outer planetary configurations for 2026-7 and talked about the end of the 80 year Pluto Neptune sextile in 2032

In this part we will take a broad look at the decades after 2032. We will be looking to see whether there are any factors which will compensate us for the loss of the ease of the Pluto-Neptune sextile.

We know that, in addition to that Pluto -Neptune aspect we now have a trine between Pluto and Uranus and a sextile between Neptune and Uranus and we know these will separate by the end of this decade.

That does seem like an excess of easy aspects all at once. Though of course ease isn’t always good – it depends on the intention of the individual – no-one wants a criminal to be finding things easy. But for the most part – and the world as a whole and specifically the major markets, ease is at least superficially positive.

With that in mind, we have to look at what follows so many “easy” aspects.

Pluto-Neptune

After a waxing sextile such as between Pluto and Neptune, the next aspect is a Square. But this Square will not happen until 2060-65. There is plenty of time for the energy to develop slowly over the coming three decades. However we can expect changes to begin imperceptibly from 2032 and even after this year’s configuration.

It is worth noting here, what that entails. It will be the second major hard aspect of the cycle that began in 1892. The first and one could argue milder hard aspect occurred in 1930-32 and as we know that didn’t go so well financially for Western economies. The evolving square will entail changes to our oil based, consumption dependent economy, and particularly in a financial content to the development of credit. Currencies will be particular impacted as will government and other debt markets.

Neptune-Uranus

We also know that Neptune and Uranus are also in a waxing sextile, so their next aspect is also a Square. That will happen rather earlier, in 2039-41. We can expect to see changes in areas related to those two planets developing very quickly after 2026-2027.

This particular cycle of Neptune and Uranus began around 1993. It is the defining aspect of the internet and all associated with it. As the two planets approach their square we will see challenges to the things we take for granted relating to the internet. The semi-square occurred around 2017-2019 – its impact was lost in the focus on the subsequent Pluto-Saturn conjunction, but we can look back to that time for some hints

The square will likely bring the loss of some of the well know internet names, particularly those that fail to adapt to changing tastes and priorities.

It Is also likely to bring challenges to our network type organisations. But inventions are likely too as they are disruptive to the status quo. This is an opportunity we can be alert to.

Pluto-Uranus

Finally, we know that Pluto and Uranus are in a waxing trine relationship. The next aspects are a sesquiquadrate and a quincunx which will happen between 2031 and 2039. These aren’t as hard as the squares but can nevertheless be tricky.

Pluto and Uranus relate to hard technology – to hardware rather than software- and engineering.

The current cycle of these two planets commenced in the mid 60s. And we have already seen a sextile ( in the early 1990s) and a square (in 2010-2012) as well as the current approaching trine.  

It gives us plenty to work on in terms of areas for change and transformation. Clearly we will be questioning some of the investments made in the sextile and trine and looking for hints in the 2010-2012 square.

The quincunx is followed by the opposition. And the opposition between Pluto and Uranus is in 2046-48

This is likely to be a very significant time. It will have all the economic challenges of the 2010 era but without the moderating influence of the Neptune sextile to mitigate them. We can expect some economies to undergo significant economic hardship and even collapse then, which will obviously be accompanied by political upheaval.

For the exact countries and markets affected I shall be looking at their individual charts over the coming years.

Summary

So between 2031 and 2048 there are only moderately difficult to very difficult aspects between the three outers. This is likely to prove challenging for those of us born under the cushy indulgence of the Pluto-Neptune sextile ( which is everyone under 75 today).

There is some respite in the early 2050s though as Neptune reaches a waxing trine with Uranus.

After that it is back to some tricky sesquiquadrates and quincunxes in the lead up to the Pluto Neptune square.



The mitigating Pluto-Uranus trine which happens at the same time is unfortunately offset by the Neptune-Uranus quincunx.

After that it is better not to even look as from 2073-2081 we have a Pluto -Uranus waning square closely followed by a Neptune Uranus opposition.
