Cryptocurrencies Part III- Dogecoin and Shiba Inu

It is Christmas day, so fitting that we should consider some fun and fantastic beasts. We are looking at a couple of crypto tokens; the first a joke, the second a joke about a joke- truly meta.

Dogecoin differs from the cryptos we have looked at so far, in that, although it did have a peak in November that peak was far, far below the one in May. We should therefore expect to see a rather different picture this time.

The May 8th chart is extremely active.

Jupiter at 29 Aquarius is trine the day’s transiting venus and trine the Dogecoin Mars- everything that we could wanto to say about the wider picture and the events of that day could be distilled into this alone. But there is more, so much more.

Throughout 2021 our old friend Neptune at 20-22 Pisces is sextile the Dogecoin progressed Sun at 22 Sagittarius ( exact around May). It is worth noting that by April 2022 the progressed Sun will have reached the magic 23 degrees.

We also have background themes from Pluto at 26 degrees, close to the Dogecoin Venus ( and progressed Venus) but opposing the progressed MC.

In May Uranus is conjoining the progressed Moon, and by 8th May transiting Mars has just passed a square with natal Uranus and is opposing Pluto bringing a real downer to the party.

There is more. The Dogecoin chart has Saturn at 17/18 Scorpio trine the MC and even Jupiter. On 8th May the transiting Sun has reached 18 Taurus and is another turning point indicator.

A further configuration of note ( and specific to this chart) is the planets at 2 degrees. The natal Neptune is at 2 Pisces, square Mercury in Sagittarius and semi-sextile the Moon at 2 Aquarius. Note how this is also in a 45 degrees relationship to the 17 degree planets. Until April the progressed Mars had also been at 2 degreesm but is moving away by May ( though this is a slow process). It is this more than anything that seems to account for why the peak does not repeat in October/November. The2020-21 impact of Mars is over for ever – and the dratted token really becomes a dog.

It is interesting to note that a low around 21/24 June coincided with Jupiter at 2 degrees Pisces ( retrograde) and the Sun at 2 Cancer. Clearly the chart is very sensitive to this point.

But what about October/ November, what is missing that was there is the other crypto charts?

The Pluto conjunction with natal Venus opposite the progressed MC certainly seems to have pulled values down in the period since May. But there were enough planetary influences to cause some rise in prices to 28 October.

Specifically Jupiter reached 22 Aquarius then and was exactly sextile the progressed Sun. On 28 October itself, transiting Venus reached that Sun. Perfect for a top.

But we also note that in October the progressed Moon was at 18 Taurus after applying to the MC. On the day Mercury had reached 17 Libra and was both square the chart MC and Jupiter and sextile its Saturn. Another day and that would be over and with it the momentum. Remember the 45 degree relationship with the 2 degree planets- well that would be over too.  In this case Mercury was the last of the 4 inner planets to reach 17 Libra, so the price relinquished its last optimistic puff.

We don’t really need to add it, but the Sun was at 5 degrees sesquiquadrate the transiting Neptune at 20 degrees enough to also trigger the progressed Ascendant 20 Libra turning point. So, so neat isn’t it?

We’ll look at the wider implications of what this means in terms of prediction in general in our monthly enlightenment column coming soon.

In the meantime, let’s turn to our even more entertaining pup, Shiba.

Shiba Inu

This baby is only 18 months old so outer planet movements will be minimal. And, as we don’t have a confirmed time for the chart, moon phases can’t be relied on either. Not ideal but we will look at what we can.

I suppose the first thing to ask is are there any planets or angles at around 23 degrees and I am pleased to report that little Shib passes that test. Pluto is at 23 Capricorn ( although this is hardly the planet one wants to confirm a theme, Mercury is at 22 Cancer and Venus at 24 Gemini. Plenty to occupy us then and enough to suggest that this is going to have major movements in both directions.

Interest in our little puppy was only really taking off in the spring of 2021 so it is not so surprising that the peak then wasn’t the overall one; the latter occurred on 28 October. But nevertheless it did make an interim top in May on the 11th so we’ll start with that.

Although we don’t have a time for this chart it is interesting to note that the Ascendant of the midnight chart is making a square with transiting Jupiter. However the uncertainty of the time means we can’t rely on that as an indicator.

Wat we do note is that 11th May 2021 was a new moon. Now that is very interesting because, as mentioned, the outer planets haven’t moved far. So in a baby/puppy chart we have to rely on the inner planets and the moon more. This little doggy has Jupiter at 20 Capricorn and Neptune at 20 Pisces and the may new Moon is trine that. An excellent sign of a top and likely turning point in a young chap’s chart.

Other factors that indicate change and excitement include the transiting sextile between Uranus and Mars at 11 degrees – Uranus being very close to its natal position means that that position is activated . Arguable transiting Mercury at 12 degrees and the (possible) natal Moon at 9 degrees and the progressed Sun at 10 degrees are also pulled into this. That all the transiting planets are separating from the natal ones means the event is over and we are moving on.

With our May peak confirmed astrologically we can turn to how the puppy grew over the next six months.

In October Neptune was right back where it started from at 20 Pisces, so was sextile natal Jupiter, activating the bubble configuration hardwired into the chart. Remember that the Sun on 28 October was at 5 degrees in a sesquiquadrate position to that Neptune. So neat.

Jupiter at 22 Aquarius was probably close enough to activate this too,  but it also was quincunx natal Mercury, Trine natal Venus and semi sextile natal and well as transiting Pluto, and of course the trigger in this case was the transiting Venus at 22 Sagittarius.

Another turning point in trade at least is indicated by transiting Mercury at 17 Libra opposite the natal Mars.

Finally, Mars at 28 Libra has just passed its square to the natal Saturn, although this is of itself a hard aspect so perhaps more likely to provide some relief rather than downward pressure. Either way , its another sign that a shift was in the air.

I suppose we should also ask why our growing pup didn’t make it to 9 November before having his bubble burst.

The answer seems to be that while Neptune was still at 20 degrees there were no planets to support it then. 23 degrees was being activated by Jupiter though but with only a quincunx to Mercury activating the Pluto position that was as likely to be negative and positive. The Mercury /Mars transiting conjunction at 5/6 Scorpio is in a 45 degree relationship to the Neptune ( and thus Jupiter) positions though, one would have at least expected a spike in trade if not in price. The answer seems to be though that in such an immature chart we need inner planets in the natal chart ( in this case at 5/6 degrees) to be activated for an effective turning point, and furthermore in this case the square with Saturn is just negative rather than contributing to an exact turning point.  It is a theory worth further study and in the absence of an exact timed chart could be negated by the real angles so we can’t deduced too much from it.

We do note the Sun was at 17 degrees though picking up Mars but yet again only a quincunx.

More significantly we also note that the chart was sensitive to the moon phases – with troughs in November at the New, quarter and full moons. Again suggesting our puppy is still in his baby Moon years.

So there we are. Cryptos remain a very interesting subject, at least until April 2022 and Shiba Inu is no exception, however much of a joke it may have been intended to be.
